Every so often, a Westminster woman says she would play a Maryland Lottery game, though she was normally drawn to scratchers versus draw games until having a recent change of heart that landed her a $51,247 "Bonus Match 5" jackpot.

The grandmother decided to purchase her ticket for the drawing on Sunday, March 3 at the Pantry One Food Mart & Deli in Randallstown after heading to the store to pick up some cigarettes.

Lottery officials said that while she rarely plays the draw games, she has a specific set of numbers that represent her five children, so she threw up the numbers 1-6-9-25-36 on the $6 ticket to land her a $50,000 prize.

The winning wasn't over.

She played nine boards total, some of which hit, landing her an extra $1,247 to the jackpot.

"I'm still pinching myself," she mused at Lottery Headquarters.

Her family will be rewarded for their role in the unexpected windfall, the office secretary said, stating that she has nothing specific in mind for the cash other than spending some of the money on her loved ones.
